Third Batch of Future FDI Professionals Gathered Last Time before Exam

The third group of trainees under the USAID LED project's program for foreign direct investment (FDI) professionals came yesterday to Bucha near Kyiv for its fourth workshop, Marketing and Selling.

The workshop will last for three days, aiming to "introduce the principles and tools of a marketing approach; explain specifics of territorial and industrial property marketing; and enhance participants’ presentation skills," according to the program description.

The fourth workshop is the last in the course of FDI training, and will be followed by certification exams on Oct. 24 and 25, 2007. A total of 25 local and regional government officers and independent consultants from various Ukrainian regions enrolled for the program's third cycle, which was launched on June 6, 2007.

After the program's two previous cycles, Ukraine has received 42 certified professionals versed in full range of aspects of investment attraction activity.
