The USAID Local Economic Development (LED) project is looking for architects willing to acquire skills in designing/planning industrial property.
The training will take the form of internship. Working under the guidance of experienced foreign experts in the domain, the trainees will develop conceptual design and feasibility study of industrial sites or parks to up-to-date international standards in some Ukrainian cities.
The training will be free of charge. The LED project will also bear relevant travel and hotel accommodation expenses of the trainees.
On successful completion of the internship, the trainees may obtain contracts on similar assignments in other cities throughout Ukraine.
The announcement of the internship offer, which is currently being disseminated by the LED project, sets a number of criteria for what it calls the “ideal applicant,” such as special education, experience in specialized application software, professional experience, etc.
Applicants will be asked to provide a résumé. Evaluation of the résumés will result in a short list of applicants who will be invited to the LED project office for an interview.
